10th Birthday - Box 3

Hello! I hope you're ready for another Glossy Box unboxing - this time I decided to video the opening of the box for you so you can see how they arrive ๐ŸŽ. In my last post  (Beauty Treasures) , I mentioned Glossy Box had sent an email apologising for the lateness of the box and that the next one would have an extra treat and true to their word it did! This box is more extravagant than the previous boxes because it is Glossy Box's 10th Birthday ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰!! This means the box is worth over £75 instead of £50 so contains extra nice goodies - watch the unboxing below to see what I got ๐Ÿ‘‡ So as you'll see from the video this months 5 products I'll be reviewing are Elemis Pro-Collagen marine cream, cuticle oil, eyeshadow, blusher and highlighter! I also got my extra treat which was a lovely face mask cream ๐Ÿ’† Let's start with the 3 make up products ๐Ÿคฉ Steve Laurant Celebration Eyeshadow Palette - As you'll know from previous blogs I cannot apply eyeshadow for the life

Beauty Treasures - Box 2

Welcome to another Glossy Box unboxing ๐Ÿ’•This box has a 'Beauty Treasures' theme and before even opening the box I was excited! The box featured an under the sea/treasure box style (Little Mermaid vibes!) and will be great for keeping bits and bobs in! Have a look at the video below comparing the standard pink box with the themed box - I am all here for the themed boxes ๐Ÿ‘

Here are the 'Beauty Treasures'. We have a lip/cheek tint, bronzer, body fragrance mist, shower steamer and mascara. I'm currently wearing semi-permanent eyelashes so sadly can't review the mascara BUT a quick google search for 'EYEKO Yoga Waterproof Mascara' shows amazing reviews and it's out of stock in most places so I can't wait to give it a try ๐Ÿ‘

The items in this box would cost a total £60 if bought individually so another great saving for me with some new products to give a go! Read on for my review of the products ๐Ÿ‘‡

Aurikah Aura Body Fragrance Mist (Tropique) - first thing I have to say about this is WOW! This mist smells like holiday and gives off such a feel good vibe. Considering most of us haven't had a holiday abroad in so long, this is a real treat. A spritz of this while watching Love Island will need to be my holiday fix for now ๐ŸŒž There are some UK sellers on eBay selling this item but other than that, it looks like Aurikah direct (American website) is the main place to purchase this. RRP $28. To purchase click here.

KNDR Kind Bronze - I was surprised when I opened this bronzer to find it had more of a creamy texture rather than a powder texture. It did apply nicely and because of the texture it is buildable so you can go for a slight glow or a more intense bronze look which is a bonus. I do like this product but for the size of it I think it is slightly overpriced so not sure if I will purchase it outwith the Glossy Box... RRP £14. To purchase click here.

Bubble T Cosmetics Foamo Shower Steamer Shell - at first glance I had no idea what this was as it isn't a product I even knew existed ๐Ÿ˜ฎ this is basically a bath bomb but for a shower instead! You place this on the shower floor and voila a bath bomb for the shower. This is great if you want to unwind but are short for time. It's hand made & vegan friendly too! RRP £4.99. To purchase click here.

McoBeauty Lip and Cheek tint - I love the idea of a duo product as it takes up less space in small bags particularly on a night out... however, I didn't like the look this product gave on the lips unfortunately! It worked well as a cheek tint and I will definitely use it for this ๐Ÿ˜Š I was given this in flamingo pink which is unfortunately out of stock at the moment but there are other shades available to try. RRP £12. To purchase click here.

I hope you enjoyed my box 2 post! I'll score this box 4/5 as I will actually use all of these items ๐Ÿ˜

This box was late arriving (which I didn't even realise so it couldn't have been too late) but Glossy Box sent an email apologising and advised the next box will have an extra treat so I'll keep my eyes peeled for that! ๐Ÿ‘€

Glossies Lost In Lockdown

Hello and welcome to 'My Glossy Box' blog! During lockdown 1 back in 2020, I decided to subscribe to the Glossy Box subscription for 3 months as a monthly treat to help get me through the unsettling life we were all living... In a nutshell, Glossy Box offer beauty subscription boxes that include 5 amazing beauty products worth over £50 delivered to your door every month. I loved getting the boxes but for some unknown reason didn't bother renewing until recently having a clearout (in lockdown 3!) I came across some abandoned and unused items from my boxes... the "glossies lost in lockdown". This random mix of goodies reminded me just how much I enjoyed receiving the boxes so I decided to renew my subscription! I've decided to post a blog for each box reviewing the items and hope it will help some of you decide if Glossy Box is for you! This first blog I'll be reviewing the random items I've came across and going forward will be blogging my new boxes

Dreaming of Paradise - Box 1

Welcome back to My Glossy Box blog! So for those of you who read my first blog (if you haven't click here to have a look), you'll remember I came across some unused glossy box items from my subscription last year that inspired me to resubscribe... well here it is my first full box review ๐Ÿ‘ง I hope you enjoy the post and maybe it will inspire you to get subscribing too! The theme of this box is 'Dreaming of Paradise', with 3 full size items and 2 deluxe mini items, the total worth of the items comes to £53... not bad for the £13 it cost me ๐Ÿ‘ Batiste Dry Shampoo Blush (deluxe mini) - I didn't need to try this item to review it because it is a staple in my beauty routine! Dry shampoo literally saves my life in between hair washes because let's be honest who wants to wash and blow dry their hair  E V E R Y  D A Y ?? Not me! It's a miracle in a can and this mini version will be ideal for keeping in my handbag. They offer a wide range for different hair colour
